NOW TV Slash FTTC Broadband and Anytime Phone to £22
Sky’s sibling ISP and TV streaming service, NOW TV (NOW Broadband), has slashed the monthly price of their Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC / VDSL2) based “Fab Fibre” (36Mbps) and “Super Fibre” (63Mbps) broadband packages with inclusive anytime UK calls to £22 and £28 per month respectively. No setup fee.
New customers can expect to receive unlimited usage, a bundled wireless router, a 12 month contract term, phone line rental and free anytime calls to UK landline and mobile numbers (anytime calls usually cost an £8 extra per month).
On top of that NOW TV also offers a 30 day “no contract” option, but in order to get that you’ll need to pay a one-off £60 setup fee.

Nice to see a 12 month package. Useful just in case my area should ever get FTTP, as I wouldn’t want a 24 month package which appear to becoming more the norm.
Any info on the upload speeds for NOW TV? Cant seem to find any info on the website or terms and conditions. I know with Plus net they are or used to be limited and less than direct with BT on same package.
Normal BTW package so whatever you can get with 80/20 being the mac sync

Good prices – FTTC with calls for less than I pay for ADSL2+ with no calls.
Is it possible to use your own modem with Now TV either officially or unofficially in a similar manner to what you can or used to be able to with Sky? If so could someone steer me to the right info on how.

NowTV is basically the same as Sky Fibre Broadband so you need to have a router that supports Option 61 to use your own with it.
For me I have a Zyxel VMG1312-B10D router in bridge mode and then an Opnsense router configured under Option 61.
My neighbour who also has NowTV has a TPLink Archer V900 Modem/Router that supports Option 61 direct.
The settings are the same as with sky, requires a router that supports using DHCP protocol with a client ID (option 61 as stated by Antony).
The client id can contain anything, although I never tested leaving it empty, Sky stopped checking it years ago, so no need to extract the password and username from the one Now send you.
Here are the relevant settings I used on a BT 5a router running openwrt.
