London-focused broadband ISP CommunityFibre (CF), which has already covered 675,000 premises with their 3Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network (aiming for 2.2 million by the end of 2024), has launched an early ‘Black Friday’ sale that reduces their 200Mbps and 500Mbps (symmetric) plans to half-price for 12-months.
New customers can expect to receive a free installation on CF’s 24-month plans (or £9.95 setup on 12-month plans), as well as a Tri-Band Mesh WiFi router from Linksys, symmetric speeds and unlimited usage. Otherwise, the new discount reduces the monthly price of their 200Mbps package to £13.75 a month for the first 12-months of service, then £27.50 for the final 12-months and £29.50 thereafter.
As for their 500Mbps package, that will now cost £18.75 a month for the first 12-months of service, then £37.50 for the final 12-months and £39.50 thereafter. The new offer is expected to run until 10am on the 24th November 2022. The operator also offers a super-cheap 10Mbps tier for just £12.50 per month, which is aimed at those who may struggle to afford the main plans.

Nice. Drink it in, Londoners!
Last month CF were offering 150Mbps for £17.99 and 1000Mbps for £25 per month on 24 month contracts.
These new so called “Black Friday” offers are rather disappointing in my view.
