Business Internet provider Metronet UK has extended the reach of their hybrid fibre optic (Dark Fibre) and “high capacity” carrier grade wireless network, which offers service speeds of between 1Mbps to 10Gbps, into the market town of Burnley in Lancashire (England).
The ISP typically targets business areas that have previously suffered due to a lack of superfast broadband infrastructure, which sometimes occurs due to neglect by BT or other the big operators.

“This new rollout means that we now have even stronger coverage in the North West, businesses in Burnley can now benefit from Metronet (UK) being able to deliver faster connectivity which is flexible and great value for money. We already have several businesses on the Metronet (UK) network and look forward to connecting the rest of Burnley.”
The network is also available across parts of Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham and Crewe among other locations.
