EuropaSat Cuts UK Satellite Broadband Prices in Half for 3 Months

Oxfordshire-based broadband Satellite ISP EuropaSat has announced that customers who take either their Tooway (Eutelsat) or SES based packages will now be able to benefit from half-price monthly rental for the first three months of service.

However it’s important to note that the new offer varies depending upon where you are in the United Kingdom. For example, people in England, Wales and Ireland can only get the Tooway discounts, while those in Scotland or Europe must choose from the SES packages. In both cases you need to use the promo code Gen14pr during sign-up.

The Tooway packages start from £9.99 per month for the first 3 months of service (£19.99 thereafter) and that gets you a 5Mbps service (1Mbps upload) with a 2GB data allowance, although you’ll need to pay around £500 for the hardware and installation (or increase your rental cost).

Meanwhile the SES packages start at the same price, albeit with download speeds of 10Mbps (1Mbps upload) and a better usage allowance of 5GB. But again the hardware and install will set you back almost as much as for the Tooway setup. Bigger packages are available for all of the above services and annual payments can result in further savings of 5% off the cost.
