Internet provider Fuel Broadband will later today begin offering their ‘up to’ 17Mbps unlimited broadband + UK evening and weekend calls bundle, which also comes with an Amazon TV Fire Stick (plus a 30 day Amazon Prime trial) and wireless router, free for the first 9 months (£5 a month thereafter).

New customers will also need to take Fuel’s Phone Line Rental service, which costs an extra £16.40 per month on top of the broadband price. Plus Anytime UK landline calls can also be added for an optional +£3 per month. The new promotion will run until the 30th September 2015.

Unlimited FuelBroadband and Calls Bundle
• Up to 17Mb Download Speed
• FREE wireless router
• 12 month contract
• Unlimited data allowance
• FREE activation (worth £20)
• FREE wireless router
• FREE Evening and Weekend calls
• Day time UK landline calls: 8.4p/ minute (outside of free period)

It’s worth noting that a router delivery charge of £7.50 (postage) also applies, although interestingly this has just been reduced from £7.95. Elsewhere the Amazon Fire TV Stick is a wireless (WiFi) video streaming device that can be plugged into your TV’s HDMI port.

Fuel Broadband (previously known as Primus) used to offer fibre but have abandoned it for residential customers… I use them for phone line rental (7.39 a month, up from 5.99 a month just recently) and then use Plus.Net on that line.

NB If you take both broadband and phone calls service from Fuel BB, you’ll probably find your line is switched to TalkTalk, as Fuel BB uses them (as does the Post Office for BB)
