Budget ISP Fuel Broadband, which is currently offering 12 months of free service on their ‘up to’ 17Mbps unlimited standard broadband package (includes an Amazon TV Fire Stick with a 30 day Prime trial), has quietly introduced a few New Year price rises into the on-going promotion.
The promotion is only open for new customers and also requires you to take out the ISPs Phone Line Rental service, which has just increased from £16.40 to £17.30 per month (i.e. following the same trend as the other big ISPs).

Similarly the normal monthly package price was £5, but this has now increased to £6 per month. In addition, PAYG calls (outside of the free period) have also risen from 8.4p to 9p per minute.

UPDATE 5th January 2015
Unfortunately there’s more bad news today as we’ve noted that Fuel Broadband has also scrapped their FREE Evening and Weekend calls service, so not only has the price gone up but they’ve also taken the free calling periods away and without any prior warning. The other big ISPs have also played a similar game with their entry-level packages, which hasn’t gone down well with consumers.
