Fixed wireless ISP WiSpire, which offers superfast (30Mbps) capable broadband services to isolated parts of rural Norfolk in England, has today announced that they’ve “removed all data caps” from their network and as a result customers can enjoy unlimited usage.
Strictly speaking the provider has been offering “unlimited” packages since they revamped their website and Internet packages in April 2016 (here) and today’s announcement is once again being aimed at their new customers, although existing users can upgrade from the older capped packages.
Steve Maine, CEO of WiSpire, said:
“We have been working hard to deal with Norfolk’s rural broadband issues, providing wireless broadband connections in parts of the county not served by other service providers using other technologies. Many of our service packages already offer uncapped data capacity but today’s announcement extends this facility to all users of our wireless network.
WiSpire is rapidly expanding its customer base and wireless network to provide these essential broadband services, and in those parts of the county not yet reached by our wireless network, the company offers a range of satellite services to make sure that all Norfolk residents and businesses have access to fast, reliable broadband connectivity.”
WiSpire’s entry-level wireless broadband package is a 6Mbps (0.5Mbps upload) service with a 10GB usage cap unlimited usage that costs £15 per month, plus £199.99 installation on a 12 month contract. Faster unlimited options start at £22 per month (10Mbps download / 1Mbps upload) and this goes up to £50 for the 30Mbps (2Mbps upload) service.
Just remember that you don’t have to take fixed line rental with a wireless connection and WiSpire also throws in an included router.
