Broadband ISP YouFibre has this week launched a new 500Mbps package, which will be available to those being connected via Netomnia‘s new UK Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network. In addition, the new network has also just gone live in the Lincolnshire town of Boston, which is part of their local £7.5m project to cover 25,000 premises.
The new 500Mbps package is priced at just £30 per month for the first 18 months of service (£40 thereafter) and new customers will also receive the first 3 months of service for free. On top of that, the ISP has decided to include their optional WiFi Mesh (YouMesh) add-on into their top 1000Mbps package at no extra cost (this normally costs an extra £7 per month).
All of YouFibre’s packages include unlimited usage, symmetrical download and upload speeds, a Wi-Fi router, a no price-rise promise within contract and 24/7 UK based support. And there is no install fee, ‘activation’ fee or line rental.

Youfibre have put up a billboard in my area – I live in gloucester – but I don’t believe they have any rollout plans for my area and cityfibre are already digging up the roads.

Their website doesn’t appear to have any details about the upload speeds, no details on whether it is symmetric broadband package or not.
It’s in the article.

@CarlT: Thanks for pointing it out. The YouFibre offer seems to be a good deal then.
500mbps upload for 30 a month.. I wonder what backbone they have?
I live in Boston. It is only available on one street, everything else is just in building stages.
