YouFibre Launch 500Mbps Package as Boston Network Goes Live

Broadband ISP YouFibre has this week launched a new 500Mbps package, which will be available to those being connected via Netomnia‘s new UK Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network. In addition, the new network has also just gone live in the Lincolnshire town of Boston, which is part of their local £7.5m project to cover 25,000 premises.

The new 500Mbps package is priced at just £30 per month for the first 18 months of service (£40 thereafter) and new customers will also receive the first 3 months of service for free. On top of that, the ISP has decided to include their optional WiFi Mesh (YouMesh) add-on into their top 1000Mbps package at no extra cost (this normally costs an extra £7 per month).

All of YouFibre’s packages include unlimited usage, symmetrical download and upload speeds, a Wi-Fi router, a no price-rise promise within contract and 24/7 UK based support. And there is no install fee, ‘activation’ fee or line rental.

Youfibre have put up a billboard in my area – I live in gloucester – but I don’t believe they have any rollout plans for my area and cityfibre are already digging up the roads.

      Good morning joshe,

Netomnia are building a Full Fibre infrastructure in Cheltenham and Stroud!

We work with YouFibre to enable service over the network.

Please do check to see if you address is covered on our website http://www.netomnia.com, alternatively, please email buildqueries@netomnia.com and a member of our team would be happy to check for you.

      Kind regards,

  2. GNewton says:

Their website doesn’t appear to have any details about the upload speeds, no details on whether it is symmetric broadband package or not.

    1. CarlT says:

      It’s in the article.

    2. GNewton says:

@CarlT: Thanks for pointing it out. The YouFibre offer seems to be a good deal then.

    3. Dagnis says:

500mbps upload for 30 a month.. I wonder what backbone they have?

  3. Dagnis says:

I live in Boston. It is only available on one street, everything else is just in building stages.

    1. Damien says:

Be lucky – here in Skeggy we got nothing – even though Lightspeed say otherwise. You should be glad you got sorted out first by any of them

    2. Aimee - Head of Customer Operations - Netomnia says:

      Good morning Dagnis,

Please be assured its coming! We are working as fast as we can.

Get in touch with Netomnia or YouFibre and we should be able to let you know of the timeframes to reach your address!

    It’s the Boston FTTP party.

    1. Damien says:

I know – they only started there first because of the others on this thread.

Still I’ve left that party now
