Grain Connect Offers up to £100 in Bill Credits to New UK Broadband Customers

Carlisle-based alternative broadband ISP Grain, which has so far built their point-to-point full fibre (FTTP) network to cover 300,000 UK premises and connect 56,000 customers, has launched a new offer for the month of August 2026 that will give new subscribers a bill credit of up to £100 (varying by package choice).

In short, customers subscribing to Grain’s entry-level 250Mbps Full Fibre package (currently priced at £19.99 per month on a 24-month term) will receive a bill credit of £25, which rises up to the maximum value of £100 if they instead take out Grain’s top 2Gbps tier for £29.99 per month. The credit is then used to pay down future bill payments (i.e. it’s a different approach to the X months of free service they’ve offered in the past).

NOTE: Grain has so far secured funding deals worth somewhere around £500m via Equitix, Albion Capital, Pinnacle Group, German Landesbank Nord L/B, HPS Investment Partners, LLC etc. The operator also secured a key £225m funding boost back in July 2025 (here).

Let’s be honest, August is for sunny beach holidays, family BBQs and school-free kids running wild. It’s not the ideal time to be crunching numbers and worrying about rising costs. That’s why, for this month only, we’re putting some money back in your budget,” said Grain’s announcement. The provider’s packages typically include free installation, unlimited usage and a wireless router (Static IPs and Wi-Fi extenders are also available at extra cost).

Grain currently aspires to cover 600,000 premises with their full fibre network and they also hold a “longer-term strategy” to exceed 1 million premises passed.
