Customers of broadband ISP Squirrel Internet, specifically those covered by MS3’s full fibre network in the Hull and Northern Lincolnshire areas of England, may like to know that the provider has just launched a new offer on its 2.3Gbps broadband service and introduced two new premium Service Level options.
For a limited time, new customers can sign up to Squirrel’s fastest 2.3Gbps residential broadband package for just £15 per month for the first three months, followed by £30 per month for the remainder of a 24-month contract.
Alongside the new broadband offer, Squirrel are also introducing two optional premium Service Levels, giving customers greater confidence should a fault occur.

Enhanced SLA – £3 per month, with a target of same working day fault resolution for faults reported before 12 noon.
Ultimate SLA – £8 per month, with a target of same day fault resolution, seven days a week, plus extended technical telephone support from 7:00am to 10:00pm, seven days a week, for total loss of service faults.
The new offers are available immediately to eligible new and existing customers served by the MS3 full-fibre network.
Daniel Beyzade, Director of Squirrel Internet, said:
“Life doesn’t stop when your broadband does. Whether you’re working from home, streaming, gaming or simply keeping in touch with family, staying connected matters. Our new 2.3Gbps offer makes ultrafast broadband more affordable than ever, while our new Service Levels give customers the option of even faster fault resolution and enhanced support when they need it most.”

Wasn’t this launched back in June?
It’s the new premium SLAs that are new James, along with better pricing on the 2300mbps!
Just an FYI if anyone is wondering about the default SLA
We aim to fix a fault with your service or our network within two working days beginning the working day after the fault was reported. If we are not able to do so you will not be charged for time our service in unavailable to you from after the 2 working day period to the time service is restored.
Desperation for customers via MS3 networks , and surely you shouldn’t have to pay a premium for prompt good service
Id suggest you look at the KCOM SLAs and pricing before commenting Joyce. Once you have done so I’m sure you agree these new products are amazing value
i’d have no problem paying for prompt service. the problem is that these SLAs are effectively scams if we are being honest aren’t they?
lets say an issue like that one MS3 had recently where the single cable they have which feeds all their customers gets burned through – even if you have a Super Ultimate Deluxe Premium Extreme MAX tier SLA at a million pounds a day where the second it goes down you personally call the customer and stay on the line until its resolved… it wouldn’t move MS3 any faster or MS3’s partners to which they / you are reliant upon.
the whole broadband ecosystem is loosely connected like this and is disjointed. a few choice emails to specific NOC teams (even when they reply back saying ‘you aren’t a customer of ours please go through the appropriate retail isp channels) when these kinds of issues do happen, i’ve found to be far more effective in attaining a real resolution to the problem.
if SLA actually did anything, i’d be in favour but it hasn’t to date in my experience and likely never will.
Your correct that these SLAs would not help during a major service outage. They are designed for individual premises issues. I.e a single customers connection is down on a Sunday and engineer will attend to attempt to resolve the same day if reported by 12.
