Call Flow Solutions looks set to complete the expanded roll-out of their Government supported “superfast” (30Mbps+) hybrid fibre optic and wireless broadband network in rural Hampshire (England) by March 2016 as planned, with Monkwood, Beauworth, Privett and Preshaw nearly all about to go live.

The state aid supported plan to bring superfast broadband (24Mbps+) services to North Swindon (Wiltshire, England) has been dealt a blow after the local planning committee rejected UKB Networks proposal to erect five new 15 metre tall masts in Taw Hill, Oakhurst, Haydon End and Redhouse.

A new survey of over 800 businesses and farmers in the Anglia region of England (e.g. Norfolk) has found that 57% suffer from “poor” or “very poor” mobile phone signals and 31% can only receive a basic home broadband connection that delivers a download speed of less than 2Mbps.

A large build of new homes on the outskirts of Buckingham (England) is still struggling to be recognised as needing faster broadband via the state aid fuelled Connected Counties project, which is because the local authority and BT were unable to identify its existence.. even though it’s kind of hard to miss.
