Fixed wireless ISP Quickline, which runs a 50Mbps capable broadband network in parts of Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and around the Pennines of England, has revealed that they’re also mooting an expansion along the M62/A1 corridor and could bid on future state aid supported broadband contracts.

The row over Fibre GarDen’s (Digital Dales) failure to roll-out an ultrafast FTTP broadband network to the rural Cumbria (England) villages of Garsdale and Dentdale has deepened today after the project said that ITS Technology Group was likely to be of “breach of contract” over their gap funding deal.

The ITS Technology Group has offered to buy the Digital Dales (Fibre GarDen) project, which was hoping to deploy an ultrafast FTTP broadband network to the rural Cumbria (England) villages of Garsdale and Dentdale until it was stalled by funding problems and a contractor dispute (here and here).
