Virgin Media and Nexfibre FTTP Add 14,000 Alfreton Premises

Broadband ISP Virgin Media UK (VMO2) has today announced that more than 14,000 additional homes and businesses in the Derbyshire (England) town and civil parish of Alfreton can now access their new 2Gbps speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network, which was made possible by nexfibre’s supporting network expansion.

ISP Virgin Media O2 UK Discounts 500Mbps Broadband to £33

New customers of Virgin Media UK (VMO2) may like to know that the ISP has today discounted their mid-range 516Mbps (M500) standalone home broadband package to just £33 per month on an 18-month minimum term (£72 thereafter), which also comes with average upload speed of 52Mbps. The 250Mbps and 1Gbps plans have also been cut.
