I Need Broadband FTTP Splitter

The unusually named UK ISP I Need Broadband (INB) has just become the latest provider to start building their own gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network, with their first projects reaching hundreds of homes and businesses across parts of North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire (England).

The ITS Technology Group (its.) has today announced the second expansion phase of their existing gigabit speed “full fibre” network (Ethernet and broadband) in the Nottinghamshire city of Nottingham, which will more than triple their digital infrastructure in the area and thus cover many more local businesses.

Fibre optic network developer Cityfibre has today revealed that they intend to invest £117m in order to deploy a new 1Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband ISP network across the central England city of Nottingham, which is to be supported by civil engineering firm McCann.

Broadband ISP Virgin Media has completed an extension of their soon-to-be “gigabit-capable” Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network to include 4,000 homes in the Nottinghamshire town of Warsop, which means that locals can access top average download speeds of 516Mbps (35Mbps upload).

Business ISP MLL Telecom has today announced that they’ve been chosen by Nottinghamshire County Council as the sole UK supplier for a regional 4-year framework and the related provision of Wide Area Network (WAN) services (site-to-site and site-to-internet/cloud connectivity).
