Virgin Media has reported that new registrations to its public WiFi hotspot service at 137 London Underground Tube stations were up by 50% yesterday as commuters navigated their way around the capital during the strike.

Virgin Media has announced that a further 6 London Underground Train/Tube Stations will join its related network of public wireless Internet (WiFi) hotspots tomorrow, which raises their total coverage to 137 stations (up from 131 in February 2014). More are also due to be added to the network by the end of this summer.
