ISP TalkTalk to Increase Prices for Some UK Call and TV Boosts
Customers of low cost broadband ISP TalkTalk have started to spot that some of the pages on the provider’s website are pointing to future price rises, which are due to be introduced from 1st October 2020. The good news (unless they affect you) is that these only apply to optional (paid) boosts and call charges.
We should point out that calls and optional paid boosts / add-ons aren’t usually covered by the provider’s fixed price promise (remember, all Boosts have minimum duration of 1 month), which is the same at other ISPs too.
Otherwise the first increase will see the price you pay for UK landline calls (outside of any inclusive allowances) jump by 2 pence to 18 pence per minute. On top of that we understand that the ‘International Max‘ (i.e. 1000 inclusive anytime minutes to 50 international destinations plus the Channel Islands) calling boost will be hiked by £2 extra to £12 per month on the same date.

Sadly, TV boosts will not escape and customers can expect to be hit by a £2 price increase on those too.
