BT and EE UK Customers Can Order a PlayStation 5 Tomorrow
Existing customers of BT’s UK broadband or EE’s Pay Monthly mobile packages will tomorrow gain the ability to purchase one of Sony’s latest PlayStation 5 (PS5) video game consoles directly from the operator. But as with the prior Xbox deal, there won’t be any special discounts.
The new console can be purchased by BT’s broadband customers through their MyBT account. Meanwhile existing EE Pay Monthly mobile customers will also have the option to take out one of the consoles and add the cost to their price plan, split over 11 interest-free instalments with EE’s Add to Plan service. Alternatively, you could just buy it from any other retailer, provided it’s still in-stock.
Alistair Wilson, BT’s Director of Devices and Partnerships, said: “By making PS5 available to our BT broadband and EE mobile customers, we’re able to offer them the very latest experiences in gaming. When combining the PS5 with the ultra responsive, super-fast connectivity that BT Full Fibre delivers, customers really will enjoy an amazing gaming experience.”

Couldnt find it anywhere on BT total joke
I got one from my bt link where it said use code it was in my basket for two hours though as the site kept crashing. I finally managed to checkout at about 12.30 over two hours after I put it in my basket. Sorry to hear you didn’t get one.
I was logged into the MyBT Account area at 7:55am this morning and ready to go. At 8am prompt I clicked on refresh and by the time it had re-loaded they were already sold out!
I got one at about 10am it was in my basket for two hours before I could check out but I did complete my order at about 12.30 with the code from my by link.
Unfortunately the code never appeared for me. I did keep trying right through till after 9am but nothing, the tile was there advertising the PS5 but the code button wasn’t.
Great news you had success though however for me, I shall now await till stocks are more plentiful, which I assume will be late spring/summer next year.
Is this just for new customers
No, this offer was for anyone who is a current customer of BT Broadband. This offer has now disappeared from the account area though, so can only assume it’s all sold out.
I looked at my EE account and could order one yesterday morning for £40 per month. I was tempted but don’t actually want one as I have a good PC and there aren’t any must have exclusive titles yet. I see this as an issue for Microsoft too. The hardware is here but the software is lackluster.
I’d had a conversation at work the day before where 2 people were talking about going to Curry’s to get one as a present. I told them they’d be lucky and I’m not sure they believed me. Bet they do now!
EE spam me about so much stuff but when there’s something that might have tempted me they didn’t bother. Seems to be sold out.
That is wrong. I spoke to BT and they said there never was and never will be an offer to buy ps5
