Broadband ISP Aquiss Refreshes FullFibre Limited Plans and Offers 2.5Gbps
Shropshire-based independent ISP Aquiss has this afternoon launched a refreshed range of full fibre broadband packages delivered over the FullFibre Limited network, which currently reaches around 600,000 premises (ready for service) across the United Kingdom.
Some of the headline packages include a symmetric 2.5Gbps option for £65 per month (£32.50 for the first 3 months) and a flexible gigabit package, which delivers average speeds of around 750Mbps, with the ability to burst to full 1Gbps when required, for just £36 per month.
As usual all packages include unlimited usage, a 12-month minimum contract term, free installation / activation, a pledge of no annual mid-contract price rises, a static IPv4 address and static IPv6 addresses (/56). But new customers will be expected to supply their own broadband router.

Higher contention ratios and QoS that changes depending on how busy the network is?
With FTTP technically every property gets (and shares) the full PON line rate. Throughput is artificially limited by the ISP so it doesn’t have to be a constant hard limit.
