UK ISP TalkTalk Business Set to Relocate to a New Salford Headquarters

Business broadband and Ethernet provider TalkTalk Business (TTB), which in 2023 was demerged from the TalkTalk Group and sold to the same group’s own shareholders for £95m (here), has today announced their plans to relocate to a new headquarters at Building 1, Exchange Quay in Salford.

The move, which is due to see the new HQ have its official opening in mid-May 2026, appears to represent another big change since TTB announced in February 2026 that it was “now operating as a fully independent organisation“ (here) with “full autonomy over strategy, investment and systems“, which they hope will form a part in accelerating their future growth.

A key feature of the new office will be a dedicated customer demonstration space, showcasing a suite of advanced networking technologies, including Cisco Meraki solutions. This will allow customers to experience TalkTalk Business’s capabilities first-hand and explore how its managed services can support their digital transformation journeys.

The office also offers enhanced facilities for employees, and the business will host a series of activities during its opening week, including team events, office tours and informal engagement sessions designed to bring colleagues together in the new space.

Ruth Kennedy, CEO at TalkTalk Business, said:

“This move is an important milestone for TalkTalk Business and a clear indication of how far we’ve come in our transformation. As a fully independent business, we now have the focus and flexibility to invest in the areas that matter most to our customers and our people.

Our new headquarters has been designed to support collaboration, showcase our technology and create an environment where our teams can thrive. It’s a space that represents our future as a managed network services provider and underlines our ambition to deliver more for our customers.”

TalkTalk Business know what’s coming. They’re getting out before the main TalkTalk Group goes under and gets sold off.

So that’s both TalkTalk Business and Consumer moving to new buildings. Interesting.
