ISP Metronet UK has announced that its next generation fibre optic and wireless broadband network has been expanded to cover businesses in Crewe (Cheshire) and the surrounding area.
The provider claims to connect customers, at speeds from 1Mbps to 10Gbps, with a “resilient network” that spans the most important UK data centres and offers “significantly reduced” lead times.
Metronet (UK) CEO, Elliott Mueller, said:
“The government’s superfast broadband objectives are very consumer focused and do little to address the needs of businesses that require rock solid connectivity with tight service level agreements. The economics simply don’t stack up for traditional providers to run fibre to the often dispersed locations where businesses call home.
Metronet (UK) are about to address this in Crewe by providing the opportunity to connect to the UK’s number one hybrid business only network. We will deliver services quickly, in a cost effective manner and independently of the existing, outdated infrastructure.”
The provider often uses Gigabit radio and microwave technologies to deploy “Last Mile” solutions for businesses.
