Tesco Mobile UK Offers FREE Unlimited Home Broadband for 12 Months

Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 (1:46 pm) - Score 1,302

TescoMobile customers are being offered the chance to have 12 months of free home broadband with an “unlimited” usage allowance (fair usage policy applies) when they also take out Tesco’s line rental service for £13.75 a month (i.e. saves £6.50 a month off the normal broadband price).

The new offer, which applies to all of the operators new and existing mobile subscribers (i.e. pay monthly, payg or SIM-only), is only available to those covered by Tesco’s unbundled (LLU) C&W based fixed line broadband network and anybody else will have to pay £7.50 per month for the internet service.

Tescos Broadband with Inclusive Evening and Weekend Calls
* Up to 14Mbps “Typical” download speeds (20Mbps theoretical)
* Unlimited downloads (FUP)
* 3 Clubcard point for every £1 you spend
* UK call centre
* Inclusive wireless router
* Inclusive UK landline calls evening & weekends
* 12 month contract
* FREE setup (£40 for 1 month contract option)

The promotion, which is mentioned on the front page of Tesco’s broadband and home phone website, will be available to order until 31st December 2012.

    An excellent example of why the proposed £2 per month Guardian levy is a nonsense.

    if there is an amount you can surpass then be restricted, that is a limit
