ISP PlusNet UK Offer 76Mbps FTTC Superfast Broadband and Calls from GBP5

Friday, November 2nd, 2012 (9:35 am) - Score 1,041

Budget ISP PlusNet appears to have quietly begun offering its new 76Mbps capable superfast broadband (FTTC) and free calls (‘Extra Fibre Broadband‘) bundle from a price of just £5 per month for the first 3 months. Free installation (saves £50) is also included.

We spotted the deal this morning while surveying various ISP websites. It should be similarly noted that PlusNet are also offering their standard broadband and call bundles at half price for the first 9 months of service (free activation included), although the latter deal is already quite well known.

Extra Fibre Broadband and FREE UK Calls
• Up to 76Mb/s speeds (19.5Mbps uploads)
• 250GB usage allowance (Unlimited between midnight and 8am)
• Free wireless router
• Free install
• Yorkshire-based call centre
• Free McAfee security
• 18 month contract

PRICE: £5 a month for 3 months then £19.99 (Evening & Weekends UK calls)
PRICE: £8.49 a month for 3 months then £23.49 (Anytime UK calls)

Customers that take the free installation and calls offer will also need to use PlusNet’s Line Rental service from an extra £9.49 a month. Take note that their line rental is due to increase by £1 from 18th November and Anytime calls will also increase by 50p a month.

The above offer is only available to new customers signing up online or by quoting the “fibre5” promotional code.
