Sky Broadband (BSkyB) has launched several new promotions including one that offers their unlimited broadband and free weekend calls bundle at half price (£5) for 12 months (6 months half price on their superfast FTTC package) or FREE if you take the Sky Sports pack. A £100 M&S Voucher is also available on their TV bundle.
As usual none of the new discounts apply to Sky Line Rental, which still costs an extra £14.50 per month or the equivalent of £9.95 if you choose to pay for the service 12 months in advance. Sadly taking Sky Line Rental is a requirement alongside all of their broadband bundles.

On top of that Sky are also offering 6 months half price superfast fibre broadband (FTTC), which is the same as the above bundle but offers speeds of up to 38Mbps for £10 a month (rising to £20 after the first six months of service).
As mentioned earlier it’s also now possible to take the standard broadband and Sky TV (Entertainment Channels) bundle, which adds a free Sky+ box and free setup, for £25.25 a month during the first 12 months (£29 thereafter). This also comes with a £100 M&S voucher when you join online. Crucially anybody who adds the Sky Sports TV pack will also be able to get the broadband bundle free for 12 months (special offer).
However it’s worth considering that customers of Sky TV have this week already been threatened with an up to 10% price rise (here). Sky hasn’t yet said how that will affect specific TV products.
