UK ISP BT Business Begin Offering 3 Months FREE Standalone Broadband

BT Business has extended its 3 months free service offer to their up to 17Mbps capable standalone broadband packages when taken with a 24 month contract. The promotion was previously only available to those who took broadband alongside their line rental and free calls bundle.

The new promotion will be available until 27th September 2013 and it’s important to point out that those in predominantly rural areas (Ofcom’s Market 1 / 2 definition) will typically pay an extra +£3 per month on top of the normal service charge. A 12 month contract option is also available, albeit without the free service promotion and at an extra cost.

Sadly the security suit (anti-virus, firewall etc.) costs an extra £4.99 a month and similarly adding a static IP address will set you back another £5.50 a month on top of that (note: the two most expensive packages allow you to take up to 5 static IP’s for that price).
