One of our readers has spotted that the price of PlusNet’s 16Mbps unlimited standard broadband and free weekend calls bundle has quietly been cut once again, from £9.99 to just £1.99 a month, for the first 12 months of service (note: it’s also on a 12 month contract).
Sadly the cost of line rental (home phone), which will set you back from the equivalent of +£10.99 a month (i.e. when paying for 12 months in advance), is still applicable. Anytime Calls can also be added for an extra +£5 (includes 25% off several “top” international calling destinations) or +£7 per month if you want to add 300 anytime minutes for the top 35 international destinations alongside anytime UK calls.

* Truly unlimited usage
* Free wireless router
* Free weekend calls to UK landlines + 0845 and 0870 numbersPRICE: £1.99 per month for the first 12 months (£9.99 thereafter)
The special offer price is available until 18th December 2013 next week. But take note that customers who live in the last 5-10% or so of the United Kingdom’s predominantly rural areas (i.e. Ofcom’s Market 1) should expect to pay more for the service. Credits to Phil for spotting this.
