The B4RN (Broadband 4 Rural North) project has posted another one of their increasingly professional videos, which depicts how the recently won Land Rover Freelander2 vehicle is being put to good use with the local roll-out of their 1Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) broadband network in rural Lancashire (England).
The team won the vehicle last year after they applied to the inaugural Land Rover countryside bursary, which was set-up in partnership with The Princes Countryside Fund (here). The Bursary is intended to “award the rising stars of rural Britain and recognise their efforts to revitalise British countryside communities”.
