Virgin Media has announced that a further 6 London Underground Train/Tube Stations will join its related network of public wireless Internet (WiFi) hotspots tomorrow, which raises their total coverage to 137 stations (up from 131 in February 2014). More are also due to be added to the network by the end of this summer.
The new wifi station coverage includes ticket halls and platforms at Golders Green, Southgate, West Kensington, Parsons Green, Kilburn and East Putney. The service costs £2 a day, £5 per week or £15 for a monthly pass and is free to EE, O2, Vodafone and Virgin Media’s own customers.
