Price conscious ISP Direct Save Telecom has announced the opening of a new office in Birmingham (situated in the city-centre McLaren Building), which by summer 2015 will have created 150 new jobs in the area and should also help to improve the providers customer sales and support quality.
The development is DST’s latest expansion after they successfully opened two new offices in Croydon and Slough last year, which the ISP attributes directly to the success of their so-called “cheapest in the UK” £1.95 unlimited broadband deal.
“This expansion has been in the pipeline for some time,” said Stavros Tsolakis, CEO of Direct Save Telecom. “We chose Birmingham as we see it as England’s second city with an excellent catchment area that fits exactly with our target demographic.”
The office itself is to be managed by Adam Logie, from Birmingham, who is said to have 16 years of corporate telecoms experience.
