Christmas Price War as TalkTalk Offers 12 Months FREE Broadband

Monday, December 22nd, 2014 (7:34 am) - Score 731

The recent spate of Internet access discounts from the big UK ISPs has continued today with TalkTalk matching Sky Broadband by offering their Simply Broadband service free for the first 12 months of service (£3.50 a month thereafter), which includes a £50 Love2shop voucher.

Customers must order online and will of course also need to add the ISPs Phone Line Rental service on top from the equivalent of £15.03 a month when pre-paid for a year in advance or £16.70 monthly. According to TalkTalk’s website, the offer will be available until 19th February 2014; although we suspect they meant 2015 🙂 .

On top of that customers who would rather take Superpowered Fibre (FTTC) speeds of ‘up to’ 38Mbps (Megabits per second) can also add this service as a half-price upgrade for just £5 per month (first 12 months of service).

SimplyBroadband Package Summary
* Download speeds of up to 17Mbps
* Totally Unlimited Usage
* Standard Call Charges (PAYG)
* Included Calls Between TalkTalk Customers
* Included Wireless Router
* Included HomeSafe Security and Parental Controls
* 18 Month Contract

AnyTime UK Landline Calls can also be added for an extra £7.50 per month (includes unlimited calls to UK landlines and mobiles), not to mention their various other mobile and TV (IPTV) package add-ons (boosts). Take note that the Love2shop voucher will separately end on 8th January 2015.
