South Yorkshire ISP Origin Broadband has today launched a new website specifically for its business customers (business.originbroadband.com) and in order to entice new subscribers they’re offering “Completely FREE fibre broadband” (up to 76Mbps FTTC) with “Free line rental” for the first 12 months of service (£30 per month thereafter).
The new packages are designed to take advantage of the Government’s Super-Connected Cities initiative (Connection Vouchers), which offers grants worth between £100 and £3,000 in order to help Small and Medium Sized (SME) businesses to get a superfast broadband (30Mbps+) connection installed (available across 50 UK cities and surrounding areas).
Oliver Bryssau, Origin’s MD, said:
“The SuperConnected Cities program is an opportunity for us to help local businesses achieve the speed and quality that they need to improve how they work online. Free and discounted access to high speed broadband and leased lines will offer a very real boost to the UK business community.”
The website is also offering a “Funded Leased Lines” package, which offers a guaranteed 30Mbps symmetrical connection, 4 hour Service Level Agreement, unlimited usage, uncontended bandwidth and 24/7 priority network management & support for £160 per month. But take note that a 36 month contract applies to this option.
