UK ISP Sky Broadband Tweaks its GBP10 Unlimited Fibre FTTC Deal

Monday, March 14th, 2016 (5:08 pm) - Score 631

New customers of Sky Broadband can now take the ISPs superfast (up to 38Mbps) Sky Fibre Unlimited FTTC service for £10 a month for the first 6 months (£20 thereafter) and they’ve also added in a £100 M&S shopping e-Voucher. As usual line rental is also still payable on top at £17.40 per month.

It’s worth pointing out that new Sky Broadband customers will also need to pay a £35 “fibre activation” fee, which is less than the normal £50 charge. Otherwise the package attracts a 12 month contract term, an included Sky Wireless Router (£6.95 delivery charge), unlimited access to UK WiFi Hotspots from The Cloud, Sky Shield (Parental Controls and Anti-Malware) and Sky Yahoo! Email.

Elsewhere the standard up to 17Mbps Sky Broadband Unlimited service, which has similar features to the Fibre package but slower speeds, also includes a £100 M&S shopping e-Voucher and is currently priced at £5 per month for the first 12 months of service (£10 thereafter). Line rental must be paid on top for that one too.

You can get free Sky Fibre Unlimited when you use the code 5KYMOVE at checkout. Line rental at £17.40 per month applies. Not my affiliate code, just a generic one found at hotukdeals.

You can also get £100 compensation/credit for early termination costs – use the code and put the offer in your shopping basket, e-mail the basket to yourself(don’t checkout), call the number here – http://www.sky.com/shop/offers/broadbandswitchers/v1?DCMP=afc-385281&affiliate=true – and use the reference number from your basket e-mail to get the deal.
