UK ISP Plusnet has today recycled their 18 months of “free” up to 17Mbps unlimited broadband offer (£9.99 per month thereafter), but as usual this only works if you take it as part of a bundle with phone line rental and that costs £16.99 a month on top (or the equivalent of £15.49 if pre-paid).
As usual new subscribers will benefit from an included wireless router (P&P £6.99), parental controls (network-level), UK based support, free activation, unlimited usage and of course an 18 month contract term will also apply. The latest offer will apparently run until 14th June 2016.
The bundle offers standard UK call charges, although you can add free evening and weekend calls for an extra +£3 per month or free anytime calls for an extra +£6 or free anytime and 300 minutes of international calls for +£7.50.
The above bundle price only applies to those who live in the first 90% or so of the United Kingdom, which reflects Plusnet’s “low cost area“. Sadly anybody living outside of that will pay £7.50 a month for the first 18 months (£17.49 per month thereafter).
