ISP Vodafone UK Launch Fixed Line Business Broadband and Phone

Tuesday, Jul 19th, 2016 (12:19 pm) - Score 1,414

Telecoms operator Vodafone has today announced that their consumer fixed line broadband services have now been extended to small businesses with the launch of several new ADSL2+ and FTTC (VDSL) based packages, all of which add in a Static IP address and anytime calls to UK landlines.

The new service is of course based off an enhanced version of Vodafone’s Home Broadband and Phone product, which only launched last year and received a tepid reception. All packages include the cost of line rental into a single monthly fee, a free wireless router and also come attached to a 24 month contract term.

Packages also benefit from unlimited downloads (FUP), smart divert (a feature that allows businesses to divert landline calls to their mobile) and enhanced customer support. The latter gives subscribers a dedicated support line and pledges that Vodafone faults will be rectified within one working day, “where possible” (there’s also an 8 hour fault fix target available as an optional chargeable add-on).

Phil Mottram, Vodafone UK’s Enterprise Director, said:

“The arrival of Vodafone broadband for small businesses is exciting news for the UK. Superfast, reliable, secure broadband is absolutely essential to keep the country’s businesses in business. We’ve invested heavily in our own dedicated network of enterprise quality, fibre optic broadband and can now offer a broadband and landline phone package that’s feature rich with the benefit of enhanced service levels.”
