Fixed wireless broadband ISP Connexin, which operates networks in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire (England, UK), has been awarded with several ISO certifications: 9001 (Quality Management System), 14001 (Environmental Management System) and 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
Certification generally helps to show that a business can deliver a consistent level of quality, security and or service, which is regularly reviewed. All of this can help operators when bidding on new contracts or working with local authorities.
Alex Yeung, Connexin Co-Founder and COO, said:
“We are very proud to have passed the ISO audit. I feel this demonstrates the best practice used at Connexin. Our clients, suppliers and dedicated staff deserve the best. We look forward to partaking in future audits.”
The move follows last year’s news of a £10m investment boost, which the ISP secured from Digital Alpha Advisors (here). Some £5m of that has already been committed to help build a new data centre (CXNDC) in the city of Hull, as well as to hire additional staff and upgrade their network.
