A new Hampshire-based residential ISP called Onestream has recently launched into the UK market and in order to promote that fact they’re offering some aggressively priced standard (ADSL2+) and superfast (FTTC / VDSL2) broadband packages, which naturally all include phone line rental.
Like most national providers the service works over Openreach’s network and they also have wholesale supplier arrangements with TalkTalk and Vodafone, which helps to underpin the low cost of their packages.
New Onestream customers can expect to receive unlimited usage, an included “super doper” wireless router (£9.99 for secure delivery), 12 months of free internet security and an 18 month contract term.

We rarely see new ISPs like this because the market is already quite saturated and aggressively competitive, which makes it difficult for new players to break into (unless they’re building their own infrastructure and have some established demand). Nevertheless we always like to see a new player in town and they’ve clearly put some effort into it.
