Cable ISP Virgin Media has discounted the price of their 108Mbps (6Mbps upload) ultrafast broadband and phone bundle to just £29 per month for the first 12 months of service (£47 thereafter), although you also have to pay a one-off setup fee of £25.
As usual all new customers will also receive a Hub 3.0 (SuperHub v3) wireless router, a 12 month minimum term contract, unlimited usage, access to Virgin’s UK network of WiFi hotspots (e.g. London Underground), free UK weekend phone calls, internet security / parental controls and email.
Apparently this discount will last until 28th April 2019 for new orders. The operator has also reduced the first year price on some of their triple-play TV bundles, when taken with broadband and phone.

6mbps upload? is that a typo?
Used to be 100/10 on VM but they no longer sold this. Sod them!
No it didnt Max now go away.
zzzzzzzzzzz hurry up with 500/35!!
Why would you need 500/35 for? 80/20 are fast enough for next five years!
Why do you keep using different names Phil, when we always know it’s you anyway – phil ?
I need more upload basically. The current 350mb package only has 22mb upstream.
Upload is crap.
You can afford to give discounts after closing my account and keeping the money !!!!
I have to agree with the other comments that the upload speed is pathetic, what is their reasoning behind it? I have fibre right outside my house but will not go with virgin because of this,so will be sticking with fttc 63ish down/19ish up
It used to be that you could alter the download speed for more upload… t’was many years ago tho
I can’t remember that every being the case. You could pay more for the Gamer pack that had more upload but never swap download for upload speeds.
What about existing customers???
