Portsmouth-based business ISP Elite has today announced the expansion of their Dark Fibre network and related Ethernet (leased line etc.) services into the Birmingham and Manchester areas, which means they’re now available to local exchanges in over 136,000 UK postcodes.
The new network means that businesses in the Birmingham and Manchester areas should now be able to take services from Elite that run at between 1Gbps and up to 10Gbps (symmetric) and which “don’t have to come at a high cost.” Prices appear to start at £340 +vat per month for the 1Gbps service with a 36 month contract, free install, 5-hour SLA (fix time), 24/7 support, on-site working, 1-2-1 account management and a free Orbi Mesh Wi-Fi system from Netgear.
The Orbi Mesh Wi-Fi system is part of a special offer with Netgear that will only be available from 1st August until 1st November 2019. Elite claims to have tested the Netgear Orbi system and has found that, among three other mesh Wi-Fi units, it was the one that had the best features for business use.
Furthermore, Elite said their new channel partners will benefit from a “Beat Elite” guarantee, where if a partner finds a like-for-like service at a lower cost in the area where Elite operates, they will receive £1,000.
Matthew Rogers, Elite’s Head of Marketing and Business Development, said:
“Expanding our dark fibre network into these areas and their exchanges is a strategic move and one that we are proud to have completed. This allows Elite to fully control the quality that we deliver by ensuring only the most reliable and dependable hardware is used both in our core and at the customers premises. It also brings a whole new level of flexibility that we can offer our partners. We are now recruiting new channel partners who have also built their business on quality to help change the Ethernet landscape and deliver what we believe to be the channels highest-quality Ethernet solutions.”
End.
