Rural focused UK ISP Gigaclear, which has already extended their gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network to reach 170,000 premises in England (they aim to cover 500,000 UK properties by 2023), has just start to extend their rollout across the Buckinghamshire town of Winslow.
Gigaclear’s network is already present across some big parts of rural Buckinghamshire and their commercial build, which has already covered 1,500 homes and businesses in Winslow, is now being extended to add another 900 premises in the town by the end of 2021.
In total, the extension project will require approximately 32,000 metres of fibre, which will be laid via trenching as well as through existing duct and pole infrastructure. The Winslow deployment complements Gigaclear’s other recently announced extensions into new market towns (i.e. those close to their existing network).
