Broadband provider Squirrel Internet has today expanded their existing product offering to UK homes and businesses by becoming the first ISP to launch services using KCOM’s newest wholesale full fibre product. This is likely to be of most interest to those living in the Hull area of East Yorkshire, where KCOM’s network is widely available.
The agreement is said to complement Squirrel’s existing broadband packages, which are largely being delivered over alternative full fibre networks from MS3 and CityFibre. Squirrel added that they’ve now surpassed 15,000 customers nationwide and continue to grow. Retail prices on the new products begin at £25 per month for a 150Mbps service and are available to order immediately.
Daniel Beyzade, Chief Squirrel Officer at Squirrel Internet, said: “We’re delighted to be the first provider to launch on KCOM’s new wholesale product. Combined with our existing partnerships with MS3 and CityFibre, this is another important step towards bringing the people of Hull more choice, better value and greater competition when it comes to their broadband connectivity.”

How do they decide which provider they use if all 3 are available?
Almost certainly whichever is the least expensive to them. The likes of Sky, Vodafone and Zen use CityFibre in preference to Openreach where available.
900/900 for £28
2300/2300 for £30
Seems actually fairly decent pricing, crazy if they keep it that low.
