New customers in areas covered by UK ISP toob, which is currently building a new Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network around parts of England, will from later this morning be able to benefit from an included £50 Amazon shopping voucher when they sign-up.
At present the operator is busy building FTTP across various locations, including the Hampshire city of Southampton and nearby towns of Aldershot, Eastleigh and Chandler’s Ford. Not to mention the Surrey towns of Camberley and Frimley. On top of that they also intend to build across Ash, Green, Guildford, Mytchett, West Byfleet and Woking (here).
Customers of this service typically pay just £25 per month for the first 18-months of service (£29 thereafter) to get their unlimited 900Mbps (symmetric) broadband package with an included wireless router, which until 30th November 2021 will also come with free installation (usually £99). But to celebrate Black Friday the ISP will also be throwing in a £50 Amazon shopping voucher for any orders placed before 30th November 2021.
The provider also offers a monthly rolling (30 day) contract option, but that raises the service price to £33 per month. Suffice to say, toob are easily one of the cheapest FTTP providers in the UK market, and they’re currently also the subject of much takeover speculation, thanks to CityFibre (here).
Good example how normal ISP should look like. Nice speeds good price. Pure pleasure. If they were in Somerset. I would join instantly.
I wish i could time my broadband contracts to coincide with black friday. So many much better deals than I get by negotiating with VM.
I just wish I could get toob in Farnborough.
Longing for a good upload speed.
Anyone on vm, call their retention team and don’t give in till you get something ~£31 for 200mbs.
Hopefully toob will be here in the next 2 years.
