UK ISP Air Broadband, which offers home broadband packages over various different alternative UK Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) networks (i.e. CityFibre, FullFibre Ltd, OFNL, Prime Fibre, Lila / VXFIBER, Connect Fibre and Gigaclear), has informed us that they won’t be increasing customer bills.
Over the past few weeks we’ve seen some huge price increases from almost all of the market’s largest ISPs, albeit with a few exceptions from smaller providers like Fibrus and KCOM etc. Now Air Broadband has confirmed that they too will be keeping prices unchanged.
“Air Broadband thinks the people of the UK deserve better – and they won’t be increasing bills,” said a spokeswoman for the provider. “In fact, with Air, there’s no in-contract price rises ever – it’s one of the policies they are most proud of.” The confirmation came alongside news that they’ve recently gone live on CityFibre’s new network in Cheltenham.
