UK ISP Air Broadband, which offers broadband packages over multiple different Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) networks (e.g. CityFibre, FullFibre Ltd, OFNL, Prime Fibre, Lila / VXFIBER, Connect Fibre and Gigaclear), has today added MS3 to that list in the North of England.
Just to recap. MS3 recently started rolling out a new full fibre network to homes and businesses in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. The operator ultimately aims to cover 500,000 UK premises within the next 4 years (around 2026) – some of their first builds are taking place in Hull, Scunthorpe, Cleethorpes and Grimsby etc.
According to Air Broadband’s announcement, the ISP has just signed an agreement that will see them sell fibre broadband packages via MS3’s network to premises across the East Riding of Yorkshire initially. The new packages are priced from £32 per month for an unlimited 200Mbps (symmetric speed) plan on a 12-month term with free installation, which rises to £50 for their top 1000Mbps tier. You also get a free router.
I think Air Broadband wins for the most access networks.
I was just thinking that myself. Although they do seem to have their own ASN
I’ve got Air Broadband 1GB package but only receiving speeds of 400 MB/s I’ve been emailing support but they are really slow to reply, I’ve been waiting over a week now for a response, I don’t think that is an acceptable period of time to be waiting.
