RoSPA-Awards-2022

M Group Services, which serves the UK and Ireland via various broadband and mobile focused civil engineering firms (Avonline Networks, magdalene, Morrison etc.), has secured multiple awards for achieving high standards in health, safety and wellbeing at this year’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards.

The group received a total of 13 RoSPA awards, which were presented at an award ceremony at the ExCel in London. As well as 7 gold and 1 silver award, operating businesses across the Group have also been recognised with 3 orders of distinction and a president’s award, presented to businesses sustaining the high standards of Gold award level over consecutive years.

Most of the awards went to their workers in the transport and fleet divisions, although all four businesses in their Telecom Division also picked up a RoSPA award – Morrison Telecom Services, Magdalene and Avonline Networks were each awarded a second consecutive Gold award. Waldon Telecom secured a Silver award.

Jim Arnold, CEO of M Group Services, said:

“Safety is one of our core values at M Group Services and these awards from RoSPA are evidence of how this value permeates throughout our people and the work they do. Our people recognise the importance of creating working environments which are safe and healthy for everyone delivering our essential works, as well as all those who come into contact with us and the work we do.

It’s great to see our businesses picking up these awards and brilliant so many of these wins are consecutive. These successive award wins demonstrate the consistent and continuous high standards our people set. However, we must never get complacent as there is still a lot of effort and focus required to get to zero incidents.”
