Broadband ISP TalkTalk UK Offer Half Price NOW TV Entertainment

Thursday, Jan 25th, 2024 (12:12 pm) - Score 1,000

Customers of internet provider TalkTalk, specifically those that take their Pay TV service, may like to know that – for a limited time – they can add the premium NOW TV Entertainment plan for half price (£4.99 per month) and this will also come with the paid NOW TV Boost upgrade (full HD streaming etc.) for free (saving £6 per month).

The NOW Entertainment plan gives customers access to some of Sky’s top live premium TV channels and content, such as Sky Max, Sky Showcase, Sky Witness, Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky History, Sky Nature, Gold, Sky Crime, Comedy Central, Sky Arts, MTV, Sky Sci-Fi, Alibi and various other children’s channels (e.g. Sky Kids).

NOTE: The TalkTalk TV Hub hardware was developed in partnership with Vantiva (Technicolor) and UK IPTV platform YouView.

Meanwhile, NOW Boost adds ad-free streaming, full HD video quality (1080p), Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, 50fps on sports content and the ability to stream on 3 devices at the same time. But in order to enjoy a NOW Membership through TalkTalk, customers will first need to be an existing TalkTalk TV and broadband customer or add TalkTalk TV to your order (TalkTalk TV is £5 a month and includes their new Android based TV Hub).

The new deal is only available until 14th February 2024, and we understand from the small print that the NOW Entertainment discount will remain at £4.99 per month for the first 12-months of service, before returning to its regular price of £9.99 on a 30-day term. NOW Boost is included for all TalkTalk TV customers taking a NOW Membership, at no extra cost.

However, one caveat is that customers who already have an existing NOW Membership, whether from TalkTalk or a third party, cannot take the same NOW Membership, until the existing NOW Membership has ended, but you can add different NOW Memberships at any time. But since NOW Entertainment is usually a monthly affair, then you can just let the old one end and switch over to the new discount afterwards.
