Broadband ISP Brsk to Start Migrating UK Customers to Youfibre Next Week

Customers of broadband provider Brsk, which is part of the Substantial Group (Netomnia) that in January 2026 decided to merge their two retail providers under a single brand – Youfibre (here), have just been notified that the migration process will begin on Monday 16th March 2026.

Just to recap. Netomnia (YouFibre) and Brsk originally operated as separate companies – both with their own full fibre networks and vertically integrated retail ISPs. But this changed in June 2024 after the two operators, which shared a connected investor in the shape of Advencap, announced their intention to merge and create one of the markets largest alternative networks (here).

NOTE: The Substantial Group is backed by over £1.6bn of equity and debt from investors Advencap, DigitalBridge, and Soho Square Capital etc. The group covers over 3 million UK premises (inc. 460,000 customers) with “full fibreFTTP across parts of 98 cities and towns, but their network has recently signed a consolidation deal with nexfibre/VMO2’s parents (here).

Since then the group’s two retail ISPs have been gradually coming closer together and last year’s Brsk data breach may well have encouraged that process a bit too (here). Suffice to say that nobody was particularly surprised when it was announced that Brsk would be fully merged into the dominant Youfibre brand.

Youfibre has previously pledged that there will be “no immediate changes” to Brsk’s customer contracts, plans or pricing, points of contact, or day-to-day operations. A phased transition to the unified brand will take place during H1 2026 and Brsk has now notified customers that the migration process itself will begin next Monday (credits to Shaukat and Ian for the tip).
