Full fibre operator and broadband ISP Brsk, which now covers 573,050 UK premises (RFS) with their FTTP network and is in the process of being merged into Netomnia (here), will today boost the speed of their entry-level ‘BetterNet100‘ package from 100Mbps to 150Mbps (symmetric) at no extra cost for new customers.

Network operator and ISP Brsk, which now covers 573,050 UK premises (RFS) with their full fibre network and is in the process of being merged into Netomnia (here), has today announced that they’ve added the industrial port town of Runcorn in Cheshire (England) to their roll-out plan. A total of around 30,000 homes and businesses are expected to benefit.

Network operator and UK ISP Brsk, which now covers 600,000 premises passed across England via their full fibre network and is in the process of being merged into Netomnia (here), has today revealed that they’ve also extended their coverage to 100,000 premises across the West Midlands (i.e. South Birmingham and The Black Country).

One of the UK market’s largest alternative network operators, Netomnia (YouFibre), has today announced that after four years of work they’ve managed to build their 10Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband ISP infrastructure to cover 1 million premises passed (Ready for Service) – rising to 1.6m once the Brsk merger (here) completes.

As first rumoured on these pages during April 2024 (here), two of the markets largest alternative UK network operators – Netomnia (YouFibre) and Brsk – both of which have deployed a significant amount of Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband ISP infrastructure to cover UK homes and businesses, have today formally agreed to merge.

Alternative network provider Brsk, which is busy rolling out a gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband ISP network across parts of England, has confirmed that they’re in the “early” process of deploying Novas11’s IP Infusion technology into their network infrastructure.

Alternative network operator and UK ISP Brsk has today announced that their roll-out of a new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network is being extended to include 60,000 premises across St Helens in Merseyside, and neighbouring Ashton-in-Makerfield in Wigan, Greater Manchester.

Alternative network operator and UK broadband ISP Brsk have put part of their plan to roll-out a new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network in the market town of Ashton (Tameside, Greater Manchester) and Dukinfield under review, which comes after locals raised concerns over the provider’s use of poles for part of the build.

Network builder and ISP Brsk, which is deploying a gigabit speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network across the Midlands of England and beyond (rollout plan), have informed ISPreview that their coverage has grown to pass 450,000 homes (up from 358,000 on 10th Nov 2023). Some 342 people in the Lancashire (England) town of Burnley have submitted a petition that calls on the local council to take to halt UK ISP Brsk‘s use of poles in their roll-out of a new full fibre (FTTP) network, which some residents claim has caused them to suffer “panic attacks“.
