Network provider Netomnia (supported by UK ISP YouFibre) has today revealed more details about their planned rollout of a new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network in Middleton, Newbury, Folkestone and Dover – these form part of their recently announced build plan to 2023.

CityFibre UK has today announced that they’ve started the construction phase of their £30m project to deploy a new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband ISP network in the Greater Manchester town of Rochdale (England), which is being supported by civil engineering firm Network PLUS.

The £23.8m deployment by Virgin Media Business (VMO2) of a new 2,700km long “full fibre” network in Greater Manchester, which is designed to connect over 1,500 public sector sites, has also resulted in 17 public sites – including homeless shelters, charities and community centres – benefiting from free fibre broadband until 2025.

Network builder Netomnia, which is being supported by UK broadband ISP partner YouFibre, has today confirmed that their 10Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP / XGS-PON) network is being extended to cover homes and businesses in the three towns and villages of Oldham, Dalton in Furness and Doddington.

UK ISP Brsk has today confirmed that the rollout of their new gigabit-capable and “open access” Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network, which is most active around parts of Greater Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire, has just reached 27,000 homes passed with 2,000 customers live in under 10 months.

A little known company called AJ Technology, which runs UK ISP Kloud9, has revealed that they intend to expand their Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network in Greater Manchester and bring it to more homes and businesses across “predominantly rural and urban areas in Northern England.”

Virgin Media (VMO2) has announced that 7,800 additional homes in the Manchester suburb of Moston have just been put within reach of their new Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based gigabit broadband and TV network, which means that residents can now access top download speeds of 1,130Mbps.

UK ISP VISPA (Vispa Internet) appears to have officially started the rollout of their own gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network in the town of Marple, which is in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport (Greater Manchester) and home to a population of 24,000.
