Upp Extend UK FTTP Broadband Rollout in Norfolk and Lincolnshire

Network builder and UK ISP Upp has today confirmed that they’ve started rolling out their new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network to premises (homes and business) across the Norfolk town of King’s Lynn. But we’ve also managed to pull the full rollout plan (so far) from their website.

Lincolnshire-based network operator and UK ISP LightSpeed Broadband, which is aiming to rollout a new Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network to 200,000 premises across the East of England by the end of 2022 (rising to 1 million by the end of 2025), has for a limited time begun offering all new customers six months of free service.

Network operator and ISP LightSpeed Broadband, which is building a new Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network to 200,000 premises across the East of England by the end of 2022 (rising to 1 million by the end of 2025), has introduced a cheaper entry-level 100Mbps (symmetric) plan. Previously, the provider only offered a 1Gbps plan.

Upp Pick Nokia to Help Deliver its UK FTTP Broadband Network

Openreach Leaves Norfolk Village Without Broadband for 3 Weeks

Some 11 homes along Heggatt Street in a rural Norfolk (England) community, outside Horstead, have been left without broadband access since 30th July, which began after unspecified damage was caused to Openreach’s (BT) network in the area. Some residents have been forced to drive out of the area just to find adequate connectivity.

Hellesdon Council in Norwich Fines CityFibre for “Shoddy” Works

The Hellesdon Parish Council, which is a village and suburb of Norwich in Norfolk (England), has fined CityFibre an unspecified amount after a local councillor complained that their efforts to rollout a new gigabit-broadband (FTTP) ISP network in the area was “shoddy” and had caused “a lot of issues“.

Trooli Bring Full Fibre to 275,000 UK Premises and Hits Derbyshire

Broadband ISP Trooli has announced that their gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network, which aims to reach at least 1 million UK premises by the end of 2024, has now extended to cover a total of 275,000 premises (up from 220k in May 2022) – nearly triple the coverage they had a year ago. They’re also entering Derbyshire.

First Hint of Open Infra’s UK 8Gb FTTP Broadband Rollout Plan
