Internet access provider Zzoomm, which is now part of the recently merged FTTP broadband network from FullFibre Limited (here), has today become the latest alternative network ISP to launch a live TV, streaming, and cloud gaming service via Netgem TV‘s new IPTV set-top-box and streaming platform – PLEIO.

Internet access provider Zzoomm, which is now part of the recently merged FTTP broadband network from FullFibre Limited (here), has refreshed some of their package pricing with new discounts and e-Gift cards that will be available for new customers to take until 30th April 2026.

Alternative UK broadband operator FullFibre Limited, which in 2023 acquired rival Digital Infrastructure (BeFibre) and in 2025 completed its merger with Zzoomm (here), has now apparently solved its “IPv4 shortage” (internet addresses) with netElastic’s software and will be returning excess IPv4 blocks with the use of CGNAT (IP address sharing) being projected to save 40% over 3 years.

Alternative UK broadband operator FullFibre Limited, which back in March 2025 completed its merger with Zzoomm (here), has today confirmed that the pair have now also completed their brand integration. Much as we leaked in June 2025 (here), this means that Zzoomm will now become the single retail ISP brand for the service (BeFibre customers will shortly be moved).

The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has today banned yet another direct mailing advert for alternative full fibre broadband ISP Zzoomm, which occurred after it was found that the mail was NOT “obviously identifiable as a marketing communication” and misled recipients about the importance of its content.

Internet access providers Zzoomm and BeFibre, which are both now part of the recently merged FTTP broadband network from FullFibre Limited (here), appear to have recently become the latest ISPs to introduce a new Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) capable wireless router – this will be available on all plans for new customers. Some packages and prices have also been refreshed.

Matthew Hare, the Executive Chairman of alternative UK broadband operator FullFibre Limited, has announced that he is “stepping back” from the role after only being appointed to the post in January 2025 following the merger with fellow altnet Zzoomm (here), where he was previously the CEO.

Strategic consultancy firm Eight Advisory has today published the third edition of their Takeup Tracker, which examines the rise in take-up across the UK’s many alternative full fibre (FTTP) broadband networks (altnets) and compares it with that of Openreach (BT). This edition also takes a deeper dive into take-up by age of network – a key factor in gauging progress.

Credible sources have informed ISPreview that alternative UK broadband operator FullFibre Limited (Fibre Heroes), which in early March 2025 completed its merger with Zzoomm (here), are preparing to drop one of their joint retail ISP brands – BeFibre (first acquired after FullFibre gobbled ‘Digital infrastructure’ in 2023 – here).

Alternative UK network operator FullFibre Limited (Fibre Heroes), which in early March 2025 completed its merger with Zzoomm (here), has in the past few weeks begun to notify staff of further redundancies. Most of the cuts appear to be coming from their internal fibre build and supporting teams, and this also extends to some senior leadership levels.

Alternative broadband network builders Freedom Fibre and Zzoomm, both of which have been rolling out 10Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) networks across different parts of the country, are reportedly holding “detailed discussions” about a possible future merger, which could create a network that covers over 500,000 premises.

Oxfordshire-based alternative network operator Zzoomm, which has built their 2Gbps speed full fibre broadband network to cover 202,000 premises (RFS) in England, have today reported that they’ve achieved 20% take-up in a further four of their deployed market towns and often only 15-months after build completion.

Alternative full fibre operator Zzoomm, which has built a 2Gbps speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network to cover 202,000 premises (RFS) in England, has today launched a new 200Mbps (symmetric) service that appears to replace their previous entry-level 150Mbps package. But the new entry-level tier is more expensive.
