Alternative full fibre operator Zzoomm, which has built a 2Gbps speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network to cover 202,000 premises (RFS) in England, has today launched a new 200Mbps (symmetric) service that appears to replace their previous entry-level 150Mbps package. But the new entry-level tier is more expensive.

Oxfordshire-based alternative full fibre operator Zzoomm, which has built their 2Gbps speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband ISP network to cover 202,000 premises (RFS) in England, has today reported that they’ve achieved 20% take-up in Northallerton on a network that has been available for “19 months“.

The CEO of Oxfordshire-based alternative broadband provider Zzoomm, Matthew Hare, has revealed that they’re still aspiring to cover 1 million UK premises with their 2Gbps FTTP network (despite the recent move to stop new building work), but “if we can’t build it ourselves then … you have to buy it” (growing through consolidation).

Oxfordshire-based alternative broadband ISP Zzoomm, which recently revealed that their 2Gbps Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network had covered 200,000 premises (RFS) across 23 towns in England (here), has today reported their end of year results (Dec 2023) and confirmed that they’ll cease new building work from the end of this month.

Oxfordshire-based broadband ISP Zzoomm has today announced that they’ve built their 2Gbps speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network to cover 200,000 premises (Ready for Service) across 29 locations in England, which is up from 190,000 premises passed (RFS) on 5th March 2024.

Oxfordshire-based alternative network provider and ISP Zzoomm, which originally aimed to cover 1 million premises with their FTTP broadband network across 85 UK towns by the end of 2025, has today notified ISPreview that “new network construction is stopping” (some existing work will continue) and redundancies are expected.

Alternative network provider Zzoomm, which is rolling out their new gigabit speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network across parts of England, appears to have finally launched their new IP-based digital “Voice” (phone) service for customers on their full fibre lines. But it doesn’t seem to be a fully integrated product.

The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has today banned a direct mailing advert for alternative full fibre network and ISP Zzoomm, which compared their 150Mbps broadband package with BT’s 35Mbps Fibre 1 service, after it was found to have contained “misleading” savings claims.

Broadband ISP Zzoomm has today announced that their 2Gbps speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network, which is being deployed across various towns in England, has now covered 185,000 premises (RFS) across 25 towns (up from 150k on 30th June 2023) and topped 20,000 customers (up from 12k at the end of May 2023).
